Right now at Kendall Regional Medical Center many of the most senior and experienced workers are being denied increases to our base pay. The hospital caps our hourly wages. At the same time, the corporation that KRMC is affiliated with gave its key executives a 200% increase in compensation between 2009 – 2010. We were taught hard work will be rewarded. Controversy Surrounding David Rivera Continues To Grow

Less than a month into the 112th Congress, D.C. Republicans seem to already be fed up with freshman congressman David Rivera (FL-25). According to the Associated Press, David Rivera faces a criminal investigation of his finances for appearing to pay himself more than $60,000 in unexplained campaign reimbursements over the course of eight years.  The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is the agency leading the investigation. Mr. Rivera allegedly failed to report what the reimbursements entailed which would be a violation of Florida law. This merely adds to the growing list of controversies surrounding Mr. Rivera.
