Less than a month into the 112th Congress, D.C. Republicans seem to already be fed up with freshman congressman David Rivera (FL-25). According to the Associated Press, David Rivera faces a criminal investigation of his finances for appearing to pay himself more than $60,000 in unexplained campaign reimbursements over the course of eight years. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is the agency leading the investigation. Mr. Rivera allegedly failed to report what the reimbursements entailed which would be a violation of Florida law.
