Miami-Dade Young Democrats are proud to announce that Florence “FLOMO” Moss, Immediate Past President of the Miami-Dade Young Democrats, was this year’s recipient of the Florida Young Democrat’s (FYD) Jeffrey Mattison Wershow Service Award, for her service honoring the principles and values of the FYD. Congratulations, Florence!! Florence is a candidate for Miami-Dade County Commission, District 2. In addition, the Miami-Dade Young Democrats took home the 2010 FYD Event of Distinction Award in recognition of its 2009 JJ Gala Kick-Off Reception.
